Seven Great Ways of Organizing Your Shoes
Men like shoes. Women adore them – shoes, that is. It’s hard to find a girl who doesn’t love shoes. Many women have between 10 to 15 pairs of shoes. Some have more than that. Imelda Marcos comes to mind. She had – get this – about 3,000 pairs of shoes! But most women, thankfully, only have a more modest collection of shoes. Still, 15 pairs of shoes is a big number, and they can clutter your home if you leave them unorganized.
There are so many great ways of organizing or arranging your shoes. Here are 7 excellent suggestions:
• Use shelves
Do you have shelves in your house? Then great! These can be wooden shelves that are attached to the walls inside your bedrooms or living room. They can serve as beautiful shoe organizers. Simply arrange your shoes in a uniform way and voila!
• Use shoe boxes
Do not discard your shoes boxes. You can still use them. Take a photo of each pair of your shoes and post them on the boxes so that you can easily identify them. Keep your shoes inside their boxes and place the boxes on the shelves.
• Use wood crates
You can attach the wood crates on the walls of your houses or simply pile them up against the wall. You can also apply bright colors to these crates so that they will look chic.
• Use bookcases
Bookcases are perfect, not just for books, but for shoes as well. You can even add fashion books beside each pair of shoes for additional décor and style.
• Use ladders
Ladders, too, are perfect for shoes. You can place the ladder against the wall and place your shoes on each rung of the ladder.
• Use PVC pipes
Another excellent alternative to bookcases and ladders are PVC pipes. Cut each pipe and stack them on top of one another so that they will look like “cells” of a beehive.
• Arrange the shoes in a particular way
Have one shoe face forward and the other shoe face backward. Do this for each of your pairs of shoes. This will display the length and style of your shoes.
Your shoes will look prettier once they are organized. They can improve the appearance of your interiors.
