Kinds Of Jumpers That You Should Definitely Try
They keep you warm in the cold weather and they also help you look good when wearing them, at least if you picked the right jumper. Some are, admittedly, really ugly, but with fashion the way it is now, you barely see the ugly jumpers anymore, except when Christmas rolls by.
There are basically 7 different types of jumpers. You wear each of them depending on the weather and occasion.
- Turtleneck or roll-neck
They keep your neck warm and gives off this cool aura, especially if worn right. The only downside to this is that it doesn’t look good on people who have a short neck.
- Hoodie
A fan favourite, considering that it’s the go-to for almost everyone. It also doesn’t discriminate on any body types. It’s your typical top that lets you feel relaxed and calm.
- V-neck
It’s great for layering if you want to spice things up a notch. If not, then it’s the perfect and subtle shirt that lets you show off a bit of skin. It’s just plain sexy.
- Cardigan
A bit on the formal side, but nonetheless a great “jumper” to wear during events. It will make you look way too spiffy for an informal event though. Might tone it down a bit there, buddy.
- Crew neck
It’s good with everything and pairs well with every other item in the clothing family. As long as you don’t pick one with an itchy material, you are good to go.
- Cable knit
They are warm and stylish. Though, they might be a little outdated if you end up picking the wrong type of pattern or even style of the whole thing.
- Oversized
A classic favourite, for people who love to stay comfy and not try too hard about how they look. If you know what to pick and pair it with, you will look simply adorable and chic, and maybe not look like a slob. It’s a case between jumpers these days.
The trendier styles
- Open cardigan – it’s a laid back style that also happens to be boho. Maybe not the best for the cold season though but it looks good.
- Sleeveless – a bit of a classic, despite looking like a grandad sometimes. But that can be stylish nowadays.
- Cropped – it shows off your tummy, so if you have a flat one, go for it, if not, they look great with high-waist jeans or skater skirts.
- Cowl-neck – they’re the relaxed version of turtlenecks. People who get itchy too easily will love this.
- Ponchos – technically not a jumper, but still counts. This one has no sleeves and is a statement on itself. It’s cute if worn right and will definitely keep you warm as well as a head-turner.
- The Christmas Jumper – ah, the ugly one that still everyone wears during the holidays. Never let this one die, please.
